This notice explains how Blue Dot Production uses cookies, browser storage, analytics and embedded-media technology. Cookies are small files a website or service may store in your browser. Similar technology can remember preferences, protect forms, distinguish visits or measure use.
2. Essential technologies
Essential technology supports website delivery and security, spam prevention, enquiry-form operation, remembering your privacy choice and basic technical functionality. These functions cannot be disabled through our website controls. Blocking them in your browser may stop parts of the site from working correctly.
We store your choice in browser local storage under blue-dot-cookie-consent-v1. This preference does not identify you to us.
3. Optional analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, traffic sources, device categories and interactions with important website functions. It loads only after you select Allow analytics. Selecting Essential only keeps it disabled.
Google Analytics may use first-party cookies including _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie to distinguish users and sessions. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or enquiry messages to Google Analytics. Google Signals, advertising personalisation and retargeting pixels are disabled at launch. Event-data retention is configured to 14 months.
4. Vimeo embedded video
The website uses Vimeo players for films, music videos and trailers. Vimeo may receive technical data such as IP address, browser information and video interaction data. Our embeds use Vimeo’s dnt=1 setting, intended to prevent most new player cookies during the session. Limited technology needed to secure or operate the player may still be used, and a browser may send Vimeo cookies stored during an earlier Vimeo visit.
5. Your choices
Choose Essential only to keep optional analytics disabled, or Allow analytics to permit Google Analytics. You can reopen these choices at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. A changed choice applies to future activity. You can delete existing cookies through your browser settings.
6. Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies or browser storage may prevent security, preference and form functions from operating correctly.
7. Changes
We may update this notice when our technology, providers or obligations change. The current version and effective date will remain published here.
